This is the process that we go through to insure maximum quality in our final products:
1. Identify and sort your 35mm negatives and slides, putting them in proper order. Group according to three factors: medium type (negative or slide), optical resolution, and image format you would like to have (JPEG or TIFF). Separate and label each group clearly. Please note at the time we only take 35mm negatives and 35mm slides. Please be aware that we may need to cut longer filmstrips into 6 frame long pieces in order to fit film holders safely.
2. Order scanning services through our studio website (www.pixexpert.com). Specify type of originals, number of frames, optical resolutions, image format, image cropping and other options if applicable. You will be asked to register and login to our site during the check out process (see our privacy police). Your email will be used to update your order status and any questions that may come up regarding your order.
3. You will receive an email that contains the details of your order in a few minutes. Read it and please let us know if you find any discrepancies. Print this email and mail it together with your originals and payment as well.
4. You will receive another email when your originals arrive here at our studio. Your order will promptly be processed. We will deliver your originals and image file CDs in USPS Priority Mail with signature required at delivery. At this point your check will be cleared and an email will be sent to you with the delivery tracking number.
