By placing an order with PixExpert Studio, you indicate that you fully understand and agree to all the specified terms and conditions. Please carefully review the following. We also ask you to bear in mind that changes may be made at any time to this contract, so be sure to review it every time you make use of our services. The latest agreement will always be posted on the site.
1. Copyrights Ownership. PixExpert Studio will not knowingly
scan any copyrighted material without written consent from its
rightful owner. By using our services, you indicate that you have
full rights to reproduce the slides and negatives sent to us. You are
accepting all responsibility for any copyright law violations, and
PixExpert Studio will not be held responsible for any violation of
national and/or international copyright laws.
2. Contents. PixExpert Studio will not accept or
scan materials depicting pornography, sexually explicit images, child
abuse, animal cruelty, or images depicting illegal acts.
3. Liabilities and Warranties. All materials that we receive from you
remain your private property and will be returned in the same
condition as received. In the very unlikely event the originals
become damaged or lost as a direct result of mishandling on our
behalf, we will only be held liable for replacement with an
equivalent amount of unexposed film and reimbursement of costs to
process the film.
4. Shipping related loss or damage. PixExpert Studio is not responsible for
possible loss or damage when shipping material to or from the
customer. PixExpert Studio shall assume no responsibility in any way
for loss or damage that may happen during the shipping process.
5. Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy is a part of the
conditions laid forth here. Note that they are made available in a
separate link, and should be reviewed before using our services.
6. Payments. PixExpert Studio will not ship your order until we receive your payment. Payment must be received or arrangements must be made with us within 7 days of receiving a notice of your order’s completion.
7. Return Policy. Due to the nature of the scanning service, all services are final. We do our best to satisfy our customers. We test all our CDs before sending to you. However, in the unlikely case that something is not working you can contact us within 30 days to get replacement CDs. After 30 days your image files will be permanently removed from our system.
